I have registered, but my username and password do not work. Why can't I login?
There are several reasons why you might have trouble logging in and viewing your information.
The most common login problem is caused by an incorrect username or password. Remember, passwords are case-sensitive. If you entered your password in all capital letters, you will always need to enter it the same way. If you cannot remember your username and/or password please go to our username lookup. We will email your password to you.
Also, there has been some confusion as members attempt to re-register rather than login to their accounts. When this happens, you will be told that the username which you've chosen is already taken. If you're sure that you've already registered a particular username and still receive this error, this is probably the problem. Instead of registering each time you visit GIsearch, you only need to login. You can do this from your Member Toolbox. You will be prompted to enter your Username and password. Doing so should take you to your Member Toolbox.
