What is the activation email?

The activation email is sent to the email address you gave GIsearch when you registered. To activate your account you need to respond to the activation email. You will not show up in the search unless you activate your account. GIsearch will gladly re-send your activation email. Before you have the activation email resent, check to make sure your email address is correct and edit it if necessary. To check your email address, visit the Member Toolbox and click on Basic Info. Review your email address and change it if necessary.

Once you have verified your email address, return to the Member Toolbox and click the Resend Activation Email link. Then follow the directions.
