I've registered, why am I not showing up when I search?

There are two reasons you may not be appearing in the database.

The first reason is you may not have listed the duty station you served at on your profile. From the Member Toolbox, you can view your duty stations to see if that duty station is included in your record. To add a duty station, go to the Member Toolbox, choose Add Duty Station and follow the directions.

The second reason is that you may not have replied to the activation email that was sent to the email address you gave GIsearch when you registered. You must respond to the validation email before you will appear in the GIsearch database. If you know you are a registered member, click on the Member Toolbox and log in. If you see a message at the top of the screen that states "Resend Activation Email", then you are not activated. Click the link and follow the directions.
